Dermalux™ light therapy skin Rejuvenation
Here at The Cooden Medical Group we use Dermalux™ light therapy skin rejuvenation either as a stand-alone treatment or combined with other treatment to help naturally restore and improve the health of the skin in a variety of ways.
This non-invasive, clinically proven treatment harnesses the power of natural light to rejuvenate and repair the skin, delivering light energy to the surface which then travels to the deeper layers of the skin. The treatment is completely pain-free, is suitable for all skin types and does not require any downtime.
We use 3 different wave lengths (colours) that help improve the condition of your skin in the following ways.
Blue LED Light:
- Primarily used for acneic skin but also helps with dehydration.
- Blue light destroys acne bacteria by setting off a cascade of cellular activity that creates a deadly environment for acne.
- Helps control sebum production.
RED LED Light:
- Used for ageing skin but also ideal for dry, sun damaged skin in need of circulation and promotion of collagen firmness.
- Reduces wrinkles and increases skin elasticity.
- Improves skin brightness, reduces redness and inflammation.
Infrared:
- Increases collagen and elastic fibre production.
- Anti-inflammatory and accelerates wound healing
We often use combinations of the above colours to tailor the treatment to your specific problem, including:
