Most of the procedures that we offer can be done under local anaesthetic or sedation, if a general anaesthetic is required we will work the local hospitals where the procedures would be carried out.

John runs a cosmetic/plastic surgery clinic at The Cooden Clinic. In 1986 he started his medical training at Guy’s Hospital in London and after completing his general surgical training he was appointed to the Thames Regional Specialist Training Programme in Plastic Surgery.
John became a consultant at the world famous Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) in 2002 and has successfully treated thousands of patients since. He now concentrates on his own practice based in Sussex and now here at the Cooden clinic.
He is fully trained in the UK and on the specialist register of the General Medical Council as a plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon. John is a member of UKAAPS (UK Aesthetic Association Plastic Surgeons) and ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons). He travels to the USA yearly to assess the latest treatments and surgical advances in Cosmetic Surgery to bring the best and most cutting edge treatments back to Sussex.
