    Dr Suneeta Kochhar

    MB BS, BSc, MRCS (2007), MRCGP (2010), DFSRH, DRCOG, DPD

    Dr Suneeta Kochhar runs a specialist skin minor procedure clinic at Cooden Medical Group where she offers advice and treatments for a range of skin imperfections, including the removal of:

    • Moles
    • Skin tags
    • Fatty lumps or lipomas
    • Cysts

    Dr Kochhar is a local GP from Bexhill, where she is the minor surgery lead at the practice. She has a special interest in Dermatology and is very experienced in surgical procedures to treat skin imperfections and conditions.

    She provides a successful community dermatology service locally. Her service includes an initial examination and consultation, which includes a full body check to rule out any other areas of concern. The consultation explores the different options for treatment and if appropriate, a follow up consultation after the procedure. All excisions are sent for histology and your GP will be informed of the results.

    Dr Kochhar completed the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) examination in 2010 and completed the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) examination in 2007. She holds the Diploma in Practical Dermatology (DPD) with Distinction. She is author of two books and writes numerous educational articles.

    Paul Kirkland leads the ENT Clinic, treating all general ENT disorders, and in doing so has developed a particular interest and expertise in the management of conditions affecting the thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands as well as facial plastic procedures. Mr Kirkland has been an ENT Consultant for East Sussex Hospital NHS Trust, since 2005 and is also Head of Department.

    Some skin lesions which affect the head and neck may need treating by our Consultant Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon, Mr Paul Kirkland. Mr Kirkland has a particular interest and expertise in the management of conditions affecting the thyroid, parathyroid and salivary glands as well as facial plastic procedures, including the treatment of benign and malignant skin lesions. Package prices include a consultation, removal of the lesion and histology.

    Dr Katherine Dickinson


    Dr Dickinson is an aesthetic physician with extensive experience in treating conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne and rosacea. She has extensive training in light and laser therapies including Dermalux, a type of LED phototherapy, to clear blemishes and heal sensitive skin conditions. She also has international expertise in skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, non-surgical face-lift, dermal fillers and injections of muscle relaxants.

Our gynaecology service is run by one of East Sussex’s leading consultant gynaecologists. Mini Nair is based locally at the Eastbourne District General Hospital and holds a private clinic here at the Cooden Medical Group every week.

Miss Nair is a very experienced doctor and is renowned for her sensitive yet down-to-earth approach. Patients feel comfortable discussing difficult issues with her and appreciate her empathy and support. She has additional training in colposcopy, minimal access surgery and management of utero-vaginal prolapse and is particularly interested in helping women manage problems caused by the menopause. She holds a weekly clinic at Cooden Medical Group in Bexhill for women with gynaecological problems. Miss Mini Nair can prescribe and carry out screening procedures such as cervical smears at the clinic. She will perform colposcopies and any surgical procedures at a local private hospital.

You will see Miss Nair in the privacy of our comfortable clinic, where you can relax and take as much time as you need to talk about your symptoms and discuss the next steps. Some of the tests you may need can be carried out at the clinic but if you need to have a surgical procedure, Miss Nair will do this at a local private hospital.

It’s the area of medicine that looks after anything to do with the female reproductive system and sex organs. These include your uterus (womb), your ovaries, vagina and vulva. Gynaecologists are the specialist doctors who treat women who have problems affecting their reproductive systems, such as heavy or painful periods, fibroids, cancer and difficulty conceiving. They also advise on contraception. Gynaecologists are surgeons so can carry out surgery if it is necessary.
