Meet the Experts at Cooden’s Aesthetics Evening
Thursday 7th November 2019
7pm - 8pm
The Cooden Clinic
The Cooden Clinic, Little Common
Feeling confident about the way you look can help you to feel more confident inside. Aesthetic treatments are increasingly popular with women and men to improve their appearance and address specific issues such as problem skin, scarring, and signs of ageing.
If you’ve ever looked into having an aesthetic treatment but didn’t know where to start, then you might like to come along to our evening event on Thursday, November 7 at the Cooden Clinic.
There will be live demonstrations and an opportunity to talk to our experts - aesthetic physician Dr Katherine Dickinson and aesthetic nurse practitioner Amanda Combes - about treatments such as these:
Injectable skin boosters
Injectable skin boosters improve the hydration and density of the skin, diminish fine lines and give the complexion a youthful glow. The procedure is safe, effective and non-permanent.
Micro-needling is a minimally invasive aesthetic procedure to help rejuvenate the skin and is usually carried out on the face to treat a range of problems including:
- Acne scarring
- Enlarged pores
- Uneven texture and tone
The treatment is carried out by a qualified medical professional using very fine needles to apply tiny pinpricks to the skin, so small that they are invisible to the naked eye. The needling stimulates the skin to produce new collagen-rich tissue, improving the appearance and texture of your complexion.
Laser skin rejuvenation
Laser skin resurfacing is a highly effective treatment that we use to permanently remove pigmentation, soften lines, smooth uneven skin, fade acne scars, tighten sagging around the eyes and in the face and generally improve the overall texture of the skin.
These range from a mild, one-off treatment offering instant radiance, through to in-depth treatments and courses that will radially improve acne, acne scarring, sun damage, pigmentation and a wide range of ageing skin conditions.
Muscle relaxing injections can be used in many ways to prevent and soften the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment can be used either as a preventive treatment or to visibly soften existing lines. The injections are a safe and effective way of treating issues such as crow’s feet, forehead creases, laughter lines, lifting eyebrows and many other signs of ageing.
Dermal fillers will help restore volume that is lost due to the ageing process, pump up cheeks and lips, minimise wrinkles, even out folds in the skin and can also be used to give hands back their youthful appearance. This is great treatment for those wanting a very natural, youthful looking boost and is recommended for crow’s feet, frown lines, vertical lines above the top lip, smile lines, defining lips and chins.
We offer all the well-known skin care products including ZO, Heliocare and Obagi. These medical formulations have the power to transform your skin in a way that over-the-counter products cannot compete with; offering real results on blemishes and the signs of ageing, including fine lines, uneven skin tone, acne and rosacea. Our doctors will prescribe the correct skin care regime for you.
